Marina Wheeler QC is a barrister practicing at 1 Crown Office Row Chambers.
After a period in Brussels specialising in EU competition and environmental law she joined the English Bar where she litigates mainly on behalf of government and public bodies in cases concerning national security, armed conflict, prisons, mental health, social care, and information rights.
She is a qualified mediator and co-tutors the Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution Course at Regents University London.
Since 2004 she has worked on legal projects with the London-based GB-China Centre and in 2016 was appointed to the Academic Advisory Council of the Centre for Common Law in Beijing, a joint venture with Oxford and Renmin Universities.

Ji Bo joined Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) as a new Chief Representative for Europe and Assistant Dean for Global Executive Education in CKGSB Europe in September 2015.
Bo has a strong background in both global business and executive education. With professional experience spanning over 15 years in top management at Fortune 500 companies, Ji has previously led the Business Development, M&A, R&D, Commercial Strategy and Supply Chain divisions at Fortune 500 companies of Monsanto, Cargill, Pfizer, Wrigley and Mars, among other major companies. He also has extensive experience teaching Executive MBA and MBA programs from top business schools worldwide, including MIT, NYU, INSEAD, TUM, ESADE, HKUST, Tsinghua University and Sun Yat-sen University. Moreover, Ji is a frequent conference speaker.
Ji Bo will oversee CKGSB's office in London, with the goal of helping European businesses to understand China and how to successfully do business in this dynamic market. His primary responsibilities are elite network management and conference speaking throughout Europe. He will also develop overseas programs in Asia and the Americas with unique perspective that will help the business leader keep abreast of how China is changing and how your business needs to adapt.

Dr Peter Collecott is a former senior diplomat who has served on five continents in major countries, developed and developing, and is an expert on the emerging politico-economic world order, and on climate change and sustainable development. As UK Ambassador to Brazil he transformed the UK's relationship with Brazil through clear strategic focus and personal advocacy. In particular, he brought together the main Brazilian experts on climate change and related issues such as agriculture to put together a report on the Economics of Climate Change in Brazil, which has proved influential in the Brazilian policy debate.
In his early career he worked in the Arab world and in London on Middle Eastern issues, including involvement in ending the Iran/Iraq conflict; and on EU issues, including heading up the EU/Economic part of the Embassy in Germany in the run up to the single currency. He subsequently spent five years managing change in the FCO as Finance Director then Head of the Administration.
Following his retirement from diplomatic service Peter acts inter alia as an adviser to major British multinationals with interests in Brazil, and as a Special Advisor to The Prince's Charities' International Sustainability Unit, where he is engaged on issues such as climate change, deforestation and global food, water and energy security. He also lectures on Brazil and the emerging world order, and on sustainable development issues.

Wayne Gallichan is the Director of Locate Jersey with responsibility for Inward Investment and High Value Residency for the island of Jersey.
Following 12 years in the finance industry working for Barclay trust International and Abacus, and then 5 years in his family retail business, he joined the Government of Jersey in 1995.
Wayne started in the Desastre Department (bankruptcies) before moving to the Chief Advisers Department as Executive Officer to the Policy and Resources Committee. From 2002 until the summer of 2007, Wayne was the Director of the Regulation of Undertakings Department which is responsible for regulating business and staffing licences.
Wayne’s current role at Locate Jersey is to attract high-value activity/low resource businesses and economically active high-value individuals, to facilitate inward investment, provide aftercare to newly arrived businesses and families and to promote Jersey as a destination that is very much ‘open for business’.

Dr Tim Johnson is Technical Director for Tetronics International. He obtained a PhD from the University of Birmingham in 1990 before spending eight years as a Research Fellow operating and coordinating the work of the university's large plasma melting facility. Since joining Tetronics in 1998, he has had has a plasma and engineering focus, particularly in the areas of technology development and the delivery of commercial plants for waste reuse/recovery and clean heating. David Parkin is Director of Safety and Network Strategy at National Grid Gas Distribution. David is accountable for safety, engineering and setting the future strategic direction of the network. David is a chartered Mechanical Engineer and member of IGEM, and holds degrees from University of Cambridge, University of Warwick and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Edward Radcliffe co-founded Vermilion Partners in 2004. He first started advising international companies on China in 1994 and has helped formulate and implement China strategies for numerous leading international firms. He has worked in the consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, telecommunications and energy sectors.
Prior to founding Vermilion, Edward served as General Manager of Whitefox Technologies Limited, which specialises in the development and commercialisation of environmental technology. Lionel Taylor is recognised as a receivables finance, international trade and supply chain finance business leader and is at the forefront of the development of financial supply chain thinking. Lionel has spearheaded the development of supplier finance platforms and programs at both Citibank and The Royal Bank of Scotland and also initiated supply chain finance programs promoting trade between China and the West. He has spent time enabling the fledgling factoring industry to develop in China and currently facilitates on the ground supplier on-boarding for a number of financial institutions looking to extend their respective supply chain finance programs into China and Hong Kong. More recently, he supported Lloyds Banking Group in the development and build out of its Global Trade and Supply Chain business. Andy Clayton, the CEO of LNP China, is acknowledged as a successful entrepreneur and a trusted and respected voice on doing business within China. He started up LNP China in 2007, and continues to drive the growth of LNP and its clients. Now based in our UK office, Andy lived and worked in China from 1998 to 2013. He was Operations Director for B&Q China and Vice-President for NASDAQ-listed Elong.com, before founding LNP in early 2007. Oxford educated, Andy has a long experience of business in China, and is a regular and sought after speaker on business in China. He is a Board member of the London EO chapter.
